07) 2017: Josh Homme gets “lost in performance,” kicks a woman

Queens of the Stone Age, one of the bands you’ve seen appear on our year-end lists, and a few of their albums made it to Metal Insider’s best albums of the decade. However, it was the incident in 2017 that shocked us all when Josh Homme was “lost in performance” and kicked a photographer’s camera. Following the occurrence, Homme issued a since-deleted(?) video apology. The late Anthony Bourdain issued his response to Homme’s “weak ass” apology. The hits continued when the story developed, revealing Homme injured a security guard as well. His overall reputation looked bleak at the time even the BBC suspended his CBeebies episodes. However, Homme seems to be doing OK for himself. Just last month, he appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience.
