Anthony Bourdain, the former chef, television personality and author, has recently weighed in on the recent Queens of the Stone Age incident when Josh Homme kicked a female photographer during their show this past weekend. Bourdain is known to be good friends with Homme, who has appeared on his No Reservations series.
Based on Bourdain’s Twitter, it looks like he discovered the news after Homme’s initial apology, claiming he was kicking over “various lighting and equipment.” He clearly wasn’t too keen on Homme’s actions:
Waking up in Bhutan to the Josh Homme @QOTSA shit and still in the WTF!!!??!! Phase. Senseless. And a weak ass apology.

..and Monday, I’m afraid, isn’t going to get any better .

No. Trust me. Monday is really gonna suck .

It’s where you stand when the people you care about and admire do awful things that matters. Keeping head down and hoping it goes away? No.

I’m not going to deny that Josh Homme @qotsa is a friend any more than I’m going to deny that what he did was reckless, stupid and harmful

It was reckless, stupid, and it hurt someone. But this is a good start at a way forward @qotsa https://t.co/bGMeCaLN5X

He also weighed in on fellow chef Mario Batali’s transgressions, which found him taking a leave of absence following sexual misconduct allegations.
