Converge, Love Is Not Enough (Epitaph):
The veteran metalcore band’s 11th studio effort is described on their website as a “strident artistic statement on the turmoil of living that hones their collective strengths to a razor’s edge.”
Gogol Bordello, We Mean It, Man! (Casa Gogol):
The gypsy-punks release their ninth studio album, which frontman Eugene Hutz says “brings all our original inspirations together more than any other: punk, gypsy music, hardcore, and techno…This is our post-punk groove revenge.”
Mariachi El Bronx, Mariachi El Bronx IV (ATO):
The mariachi alter-ego of punk band The Bronx return with their fourth studio effort and first album in 12 years. Said singer Matt Caughthran of the songwriting, it “started as a battle between love and death but became a way to process all the chaos of the world.”
Story of the Year, A.R.S.O.N. (SharpTone):
According to Blabbermouth, the hardcore band’s seventh studio album “channels their trademark energy into a powerful exploration of anxiety, emotional turmoil and inner darkness.”
