NAILS, Every Bridge Burning (Nuclear Blast):
Featuring a whole new line-up behind frontman Todd Jones, the hardcore punk band’s fourth LP (and first full-length in eight years) is full of “pure, relentless aggression.”
Nektar, Mission To Mars (Deko Entertainment):
The veteran prog-rockers release the first in a trilogy of albums, which the band says harkens back to their early sound.
Oceano, Living Chaos (Sumerian):
The deathcore band’s sixth studio effort is their first in seven years.
Suburban Eyes, Suburban Eyes (Spartan):
Featuring members of Christie Front Drive, Mineral and Boys Life, this “group of friends” finds a medium “between propulsion and drive, but interwoven with dreamy and shimmering soundscapes – all while retaining accessible pop structures and hooks” on their debut album.
thrown, Excessive Guilt (Arising Empire):
The Swedish heavy metal band releases their debut album, described as a “blend of aural violence, live intensity and enigmatic performances.”
Enumclaw, Home in Another Life (Run for Cover Records):
The alt-rockers’ second studio album is described in their bio as “simply a powerful and poignant album that has fun with the truth, that takes the blues that come with trying to sort through what the rest of your life may be and transmutes them into songs you will not soon forget.”
