September 27, 2024 Release Highlights:
The Wolfgang Press, A 2nd Shape (Downwards):
The recently reformed post-punk band releases its first full-length album of new new music in 29 years. For its recording, they went analog, using an ADAT 8-track machine to maintain a live feel.
The Amity Affliction, Let The Ocean Take Me (Redux) (Pure Noise):
The Australian metal band re-recorded its 2014 breakthrough album to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The Black Dahlia Murder, Servitude (Metal Blade):
The melodic death metal band returns following the death of frontman Trevor Strnad with its 10th studio album. Guitarist Brian Eschbach takes lead vocal duties on the record and rhythm guitarist Ryan Knight returns to the fold.
Blitz Vega, Northern Gentlemen (Cen):
The duo of Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Happy Mondays frontman Kav Sandhu releases its debut album a little over a year after Rourke lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. The album also features a collaboration with Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, the first time any members of the band have played together in 35 years.
D.R.U.G.S., Until God Shows (Velocity/Equal Vision):
The post-hardcore outfit featuring Craig Owens of Chiodos release their third studio effort.
Oceans, Happy (Nuclear Blast):
The nu-death band explore mental health on their third studio effort.
Richie Kotzen, Nomad (BMG):
The Winery Dogs frontman and former member of Poison and Mr. Big releases his eclectic 22nd solo studio album.
