October 11, 2024 Release Highlights:
Myles Kennedy, The Art Of Letting Go (Napalm):
The Alter Bridge/Conspirators/Slash singer releases his third solo album, which he describes as a “riff rock record” filled with “straightforward, guitar-driven rock and roll.”
The Linda Lindas, No Obligation (Epitaph):
Fresh off their tour with Green Day, the young all-female rock band releases its second album. They look to follow up the success of their debut, this time “experimenting with post-punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave, and rock en español.”
The Offspring, SUPERCHARGED (Concord):
The prolific punk band releases it’s 11th studio effort, which frontman Dexter Holland said the band wanted “to have pure energy — from the start to the finish.” The popularity and catchiness of lead single “Make It Alright” is already a good sign that this album will be worth a listen.
La Femme, Rock Machine (Disque Pointu):
The French rockers release their first English-language album.
The Chesterfield Kings, We’re Still the Same (Wicked Cool):
The garage rockers return with their first new album in 15 years, which features an “electrifying blend of classic tones that resonate with a timeless rock ‘n’ roll spirit, while maintaining a modern edge.”
The Crown, Crown of Thorns (Metal Blade):
The veteran metal band “get a bit more out of the comfort zone” on their 10th studio effort, with guitarist Mark Tervonen saying “I wanted something really fast, melodic, heavy, epic, punky… areas we’ve touched before, but step it up to a new level. And to throw in a few surprises was also part of the process.”
Seven Hours After Violet, Seven Hours After Violet (Sumerian):
Spearheaded by System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian and featuring members of Winds Of Plague, Left To Suffer and Scarypoolparty, the heavy rock band releases its debut album.
House Of Lords, Full Tilt Overdrive (Frontiers):
The veteran hard-rock band releases its “focused and extremely ambitious” 12th studio album, which features “superb hooks and majestic atmospheres that bring back the memories of their stellar debut album, monumental guitar riffs, and a production to die for.”
Jelly Roll, Beautifully Broken (BBR):
The country rocker has been blowing up both the country and rock charts over the last couple of years, so his 10th studio effort is one to watch.
Touché Amoré, Spiral In A Straight Line (Rise):
According to Revolver Mag, the post-hardcore band’s 6th studio album is about “forward movement while everything around you becomes destabilized.”
