Standout Moment(s):
No stranger to the power metal scene, Swedish musician Tommy Johansson graced everyone’s presence during his tenure with legends Sabaton from 2016–2024. While known for ReinXeed, it was his time with Sabaton that gave an extra spark to his career. With that being said, Majestica, with Tommy known as “Tommy ReinXeed,” took on the metal seas for their first appearance. However, they were treated like royalty, especially with their third full-length album about to be released, at that time, right around the corner following the cruise on February 7th, 2025. The group held a special listening party for their new record, Power Train, and managed to give a world-premiere live presentation during the lucky, ultimate 70000tons closeout performance, the final set of the entire experience, in the Studio B Ice Rink on February 2nd at 1:30 AM. We were there for the first set in the Royal Theater two days prior, at 1:45 PM, witnessing the immediate praise the group received from fellow cruisers. Of course, this left a clear sign: they will return to the boat.

Latest Majestica News
With a new album comes touring, and what better way to close out 2025 than by joining Battle Beast on the road for Majestica? Battle Beast once received enormous praise from Sabaton, which led to their first-ever North American tour opening for the Swedish metal legends. Now, Battle Beast has formed a reputation of their own and has chosen to pass the torch of support to Majestica, bringing them along for their European trek that concludes on December 14th, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland. While we can’t expect new music from the group just yet, Majestica currently has one festival lined up for the 2026 season: Tuska Festival, taking place June 26–28, 2026. Stay tuned for more updates from Majestica as they arrive.
What is the Artist Spotlight?
Well, it’s more than a review of their performance; as 70000tons goes, each band is a headliner, and we treat each one as such, giving them their own spread, discussing who they are and what they’ve been up to since the cruise. Each spotlight coincides with any updates from 70000tons organizers (if any), leading to days before setting sail. An extensive coverage like no other.
