Standout Moment(s):
2025 marks 35 years of Brazilian death metal giants Krisiun, as these veterans commemorated the milestone on the metal seas. While the stage lights weren’t necessarily in their favor for both sets, they put on two brutal special sets for their fans. The first one celebrated the band’s earlier years, mixed with selected fan favorites, and featured the opportunity to perform at an early hour, 6:45 pm. Meanwhile, their second set took place at 3:45 am, focusing more on the 25th anniversary of their 2000 record, Conquerors of Armageddon, on the fog-machine-induced Pool Deck stage. Regardless of the time, the lights, wind, or any unexpected situation that could happen on the cruise, Krisiun didn’t notice or care, as they were having too much fun delivering with such intensity.

What is the Artist Spotlight?
Well, it’s more than a review of their performance; as 70000tons goes, each band is a headliner, and we treat each one as such, giving them their own spread, discussing who they are and what they’ve been up to since the cruise. Each spotlight coincides with any updates from 70000tons organizers (if any), leading to days before setting sail. An extensive coverage like no other.
