Standout Moment(s):
70000tons is a place where no band is safe from late-night or early-morning sets. The real question is: can they deliver regardless of the hour? For Flotsam & Jetsam, the answer is always yes. Returning to the boat for the third time, these veterans didn’t focus on their 2024 release I Am the Weapon; instead, they celebrated 2014’s No Place for Disgrace and their 1986 debut, Doomsday for the Deceiver. It was up to the crowd to catch one or both of these special sets, and we were there for the ten-year-and-change celebration of No Place for Disgrace. The band was full of energy, and so was the crowd. Flotsam & Jetsam are always a blast live, and hopefully they’ll be back sooner rather than later.

Latest Flotsam & Jetsam News
Another aggressive touring season has come and gone. From European festivals, including their first return to Bloodstock in 12 years, Flotsam & Jetsam’s touring cycle appears to be at a pause. However, a social media post on September 8th, 2025, hinted at their return to Europe next year, a clear sign that more is on the horizon.
What is the Artist Spotlight?
Well, it’s more than a review of their performance; as 70000tons goes, each band is a headliner, and we treat each one as such, giving them their own spread, discussing who they are and what they’ve been up to since the cruise. Each spotlight coincides with any updates from 70000tons organizers (if any), leading to days before setting sail. An extensive coverage like no other.
