971426_10151792030730853_407473653_nScar the Martyr have released the second track, “Soul Disintegration,” from their forthcoming album on Roadrunner Records.

The band’s first album as a family doesn’t hit the streets until October 1, but the artwork has already been released and the band debuted the album’s first track, “Blood Host” early this month. The group followed up with their first U.S. live performance August 9 in New York City.

Slipknot’s Joey Jordison who founded the band, not only plays drums for the new project, but also tackles bass and rhythm guitar on the album. Henry Derek handles vocals and  Jed Simon of Strapping Young Lad and Kris Norris of Darkest Hour battle on guitar.  Keyboardist Chris Vrenna of Nine Inch Nails is also part of the mix.

While we may not hear the expected industrial side of the group on this track, its is only a sample of what the entire album may entail. Listen and decide online.
