The wait is finally over for die-hard cruisers, and new sailors as 70000tons of Metal round 11 will officially return to the Caribbean waters on January 30th through February 3rd, 2023. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the #1 metal cruise of the year was forced to be on hold, making the early winter of 2020 its last sail. Despite the unfortunate absence, the cruise’s return will be bigger than ever, which includes the brand new Royal Caribbean ship, Freedom of the Seas.

The voyage will depart in Miami, Florida, and make its way to Bimini, Bahamas, and back with four sleepless days and nights with nothing but sixty bands performing all day and night. For more information about the ship and pricing, go to 70000tons of Metal’s website

After months of curiosity, bands have finally started to be announced, which started over this past weekend, and we will follow up as each artist gets revealed, getting closer to the event. The lineup includes symphonic metal giants Nightwish, melodic death metal titans Insomnium, Greek black metal gods Rotting Christ, and Swedish Vikings Månegarm. Four out of 60 bands have officially been revealed, with just 56 more to go, and who knows what surprises they have next.
