Metal Insider’s top 5: Bands that continued despite legal issues with members

When As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was arrested on suspicion of hiring a hitman to kill his wife last year, many were shocked, but likely none more than the remaining members of the band. Late on Friday, after almost a year in limbo, the four members took their first steps towards a career without Lambesis, who is currently awaiting sentencing next month after pleading guilty earlier this year. While not much is known about what the band is doing yet, they appear ready to move on without their singer via the music posted on their Instagram accounts. This week, we’ll be looking at bands that continued to move on despite members of their bands being in trouble with the law.
