This Week on the Gram – 5/9/2019

Posted by on May 9, 2019

Instagram is filled with not-so-hidden gems, as bands continue to provide all kinds of updates about masks, relationships, a new album and just about anything else. This week alone we’ve encountered a few bits of information and decided to create a new weekly column titled, This Week on the Gram. Today’s list of updates comes from Insomnium, Ozzy Osbourne, Kataklysm, Epica, and Cattle Decapitation.

5) Epica have announced that The Essence of Epica, a new book on the band’s history, is now available for pre-order at this location.

We spoke to vocalist Simone Simmons last summer about the book:

Well, there’s a new project we’re working on and it’s The Essence of Epica, that’s our new book. This is going to be a super thick coffee table book where we’re gonna dive into the history of Epica through our eyes. You know, we’re going to sit down with the creators of the book, we’ll have individual interviews. We’ll have group interviews, we can help each other get into the dusty corners of our brains and dig up some gold memories.”

These Dutch symphonic metal giants shared the news via Instagram earlier today that includes an early-bird special discount code:
