Danzig To Perform Misfits Set With Doyle At 5th Annual Revolver Golden Gods

Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, Anthrax, Stone Sour, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Halestorm have already been confirmed to perform at the fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods. Now there’s one more major addition to the award show’s lineup: Danzig with Doyle.

Danzig will be performing a special Misfits with guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein at the Golden Gods. As many know, Danzig has been performing encore sets with his former Misfits bandmate for some years now (and will continue to this month). However, this will give many fans watching the award show online a chance to see the set from the comfort of their homes. Plus, it’ll give those in attendance a chance to see Danzig on the same stage as Metallica (let alone the rest of the killer lineup).

The Revolver Golden Gods will broadcast live on AXS TV and through Xbox LIVE and Facebook on May 2. Voting for who will get each Golden God statue is now closed.
