Opeth, Kyuss, And Ghost Add Onto Their Fall Plans

Don't Be Fooled By The Pretty Leaves, Autumn Is Metal!

This Fall is shaping up to be epic for metal concerts. And it’s all thanks to tour announcements from Opeth, Kyuss Lives!, and Ghost (oh, well there’s also some other big show happening at Yankee Stadium this September we keep hearing about).

First up, Opeth have announced more dates for their upcoming Fall tour with Katatonia. Last week, a few dates for the trek slipped out thanks to Ticketmaster, but today we’ve been given pretty much the entire rundown of dates. The tour sees Opeth in North America from September 19 (the day before their 10th album Heritage hits stores) until the first day of November.

Next is probably the one thing that most fans are excited about: Kyuss Lives! first U.S. shows since three quarters of the band reunited. Back in April, the stoner metal legends announced New York and California dates for this coming Fall. Well now they’ve added three additional dates to their U.S. run. Plus, it’s being rumored that Graveyard and MonstrO will provide support on the trek in addition to The Sword (who have already been confirmed as openers).

[UPDATE: More dates have been added and MonstrO has been confirmed as an opener]

And finally, it’s been announced that following their recent string of sold-out  shows, satanic pop/rock collective Ghost will be returning to the States with Enslaved and Alcest. You can check out the entire rundown of this tour, as well as Kyuss Lives! and Opeth’s Fall tours, after the jump.
