Jerry Montano has been in the press lately for… incidents outside of music. But it would appear that the former Hellyeah, Nothingface and Danzig bassist is working on a new project with a top notch drummer.
According to a recently launched Facebook page, Montano is working with drummer Tim Yeung (Morbid Angel, Divine Heresy, ex-Hate Eternal) on a new group called Death Division. Also featured in the band is guitarist Rick Di Marco and singer/guitarist Sean De La Tour. A few pictures from the band’s recording and writing sessions have been posted on the band’s Facebook during the past week.
Besides that, though, not much else is known about Death Division. The websites and links featured on Facebook have yet to be launched, and no music or demos have been released yet. Either way, it’ll definitely be interesting to hear what Yeung (a phenomenal drummer) and Montano come up with together.
