Wilson guitarist/vocalist Kyle Landry has decided to leave the band. His split with the group is amicable as he expressed “there are no hard feelings.” While it feels like it was just yesterday when Landry jokingly kicked vocalist Chad Nicefield out of the group during our video interview with them before their show at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY last year, we do hope Landry the best as his last performance with the band will be at Riff Fest held this Saturday (13th) at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI.

Read Kyle’s statement below:

“HELLO ALL – Kyle Landry here and I have some news for all our amazing fans.

The past 9 years has been the greatest adventure I could have ever dreamt up. I wouldn’t trade the memories I have made with each of you for anything. However, I have decided to take my life in a different direction and I will no longer be a member of Wilson. This decision has been well thought-out, and it did not come easy. All of my Wilson brothers have been fully supportive and understanding of my departure. There are no hard feelings. Music will always be a huge part of my life and I will continue to make songs to share with my friends and family forever.

With that said, Riff Fest this Saturday, July 13th, will be my last performance with Wilson. Thank you all for your support along the way and hopefully we will see you there!”
