After two years of battling with visa issues, Taake fans were ecstatic to hear that the band’s issues were resolved and they’d announced their long-awaited rescheduled North American tour dates. Unfortunately, Antifa members have been resilient about the band’s return, posting threats to the group and concertgoers, resulting in select venues cancelling the show altogether.

We had previously heard about the NYC show being canclelled, as well as Boston changing their venue, andKing Dude dropping off of the bill. And an artist that had no idea who Taake was denouncing the venue where he was playing in Kansas City appears to have gotten another show canceled. Whis we spoke to the band’s mastermind, Hoest himself, about the NYC show, the band’s return to the U.S. doesn’t look like it’s going to happen any time soon.

It seems that every other day a venue has cancelled the Taake show. Therefore, we went to each venue to see if any dates were still on the schedule. The results look as though the tour is a no-go.

Taake has also expressed that they will have an announcement about the now controversial U.S run as soon as they can:

“We will be posting a statement about the US Tour as soon as we can. Please bear with us, as Taake has been away for a show.”
