Royal Thunder’s Crooked Doors will be out on Relapse on April 7th, and you’ve already gotten to hear one taste of their sophomore album, “Forget You.” Today, via NPR, the band have released a second track, “Time Machine.” From the sound of it, the band have gone more psychedelic in nature than their first album, CVI. Whereas “Forget You” was a long-simmering slowly paced track, “Time Machine” is faster and heavier, but it’s still more on the ’70s hard rockish side. In June, the band will be on tour with Halestorm and Rival Sons, which will be a good showcase for Mlny Parsonz’ hellacious vocals.
