The track ‘Firebees’ from the upcoming iwrestledabearonce album Late for Nothing has been made available for streaming today, and it sounds pretty killer. ‘Firebees” and “Thunder Chunky”, which was also released recently, both retain the band’s signature blend of melody, crushing riffs, and dissonance but with a more polished sound than their previous albums. This is also the first album to feature new vocalist Courtney LaPlante, who replaced former vocalist Krysta Cameron right before last summer’s Warped Tour, and she is definitely holds it down in the booth. Fans can find out how she performs live at this years All Stars Tour.
The album, which drops August 6th via Century Media Records is now available for pre-order, which grants fans a free download of “Firebees”. Revered rocker Steve Vai appears on the track “Carnage Asada” with a guest solo, which should sound pretty cool.
