Thespacebarissooverrated. Either way, iwrestledabearonce actually did release a new music video in case you were having trouble understanding the headline. The song is “Boat Paddle” and it comes off the band’s latest album, Late for Nothing. The video, which starts off like the world’s worst sitcom/superhero movie, finds the band on Planet Pancake in an attempt to save the world. If it sounds bizarre just reading about it, wait until you watch the video.

Late for Nothing is the band’s third studio album and the first with new vocalist  Courtney LaPlante, who joined the band on one day’s notice during last year’s Warped Tour. The album also features a guest guitar solo from legendary guitarist Steve Vai. It was released on August 6 through Century Media Records and was recorded, produced, and mixed by the band’s versatile guitarist/programmer Steven Bradley.

“We didn’t want to make another weird iwrestledabearonce album or whatever people were expecting. We set out to make something different and better than anything we’ve ever released. It’s a more evolved version of the band. We explored new styles and genres as well — especially in terms of the more spacey, epic, and beautiful parts. It’s got the most melodic moments of our career as well as the heaviest,” said Bradley.
