Brujeria’s new album, Pocho Aztlan, will be out this Friday (16) on Nuclear Blast, just in time for them to play at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest (they’ll be playing on Saturday, the 17th at 2pm). And given that some of the band is comprised of musicians from south of the border, you might think they dono’t like Trump that much. Given that their Record Store Day single was called “Viva Presidente Trump!”  and pictured Trump getting hacked with a machete with a bar reading “fuck you puto” over his eyes, you’d be right. Now that he’s a real presidential candidate, that hasn’t caused the band to back off in their criticism.

The  band are currently selling a T-shirt that’s a takeoff of the cover of their debut album, Matando Gueros. That album cover, which was banned many places, pictured a severed head being held up by a someone that’s off camera. The new version of the shirt features Trump’s head as opposed to whichever random druglord  was on the first cover. The back of the shirt has Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, but “great” is crossed out with “hate” drawn in. Edgy, right? What is kind of edgy is that the shirt is being sold at Walmart. At least for the time being it is, anyway. Dangerous Minds pointed this out, and if it reaches what Trump would probably call the “lamestream media,” he’s probably in for it. So if you want to support Brujeria, pick up their shirt now before it’s too late.
