Next year will be the 30th anniversary of Metallica’s debut album, Kill ‘Em All. According to sneaker blog Kicks On Fire, Vans plan on releasing the ‘Kill ‘Em All Pack,’ in which you’ll be able to pick up a pair of Vans, both slip-on and Sk8 Hi (or high tops), with the familiar hammer artwork plastered across them. Vans are no stranger to partnering with bands for shoes. Then again, neither are Metallica. They had their own shoes out several years ago via Converse. There’s no set release date on the Metallica kicks yet, other than Spring 2013. It should be noted, however, that Kill ‘Em All was released on July 25, 1983, so if they want to be true to the release date, it’s more like Summer.
