Summer Breeze is now an established German festival that, in this year’s edition, will bring bands like Feuerschwanz, Jinjer, and Lord of the Lost, among many more. From my experience, this is one of the best-organized festivals in Germany. Yes, it is big and will have a lot of band changes and potential conflicts, but it is more manageable than Wacken or Hellfest. The festival’s lineup is very balanced between old, established, and new bands, so there is a lot to pick from. Besides, most of the time, you will drink or eat as is customary at German festivals.
The logistics for this festival are as simple as Flying out to Frankfurt and then taking a train to Dinkelsbühl. From there, follow the hordes to the festival grounds; whether you stay in Dinkelsbühl or any town 20 minutes or less from the site, it will be a good choice.
