Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a new column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

This week, we’re proud to shine a light on San Diego’s Life Or Death. Having formed in 2001 when they were only 16 years old, Life Or Death became a stronger unit over the years. Armed with new members and a focused sound, the band released the album Abomination in May of this year. Since then, Life Or Death have been touring nonstop all over the country. The hardcore/thrash band’s sound reminds us a lot of Hatebreed and Shadows Fall. So without further ado, take a listen to Life Or Death’s song “Humainity’s Demise” in the stream below.

Life Or Death are currently hitting the East Coast as we speak and are planning to keep playing until they make their way back home to San Diego. You can keep up to date on everything regarding Life Or Death via their Facebook page, while their album Abomination (featuring the song you just listened to in the stream above) can be purchased via iTunes.

If you’re in an unsigned band and would like to participate in Unsigned & Streamed, email a link to your band’s music and a brief bio to tips [at] metalinsider.com for consideration.
