Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

This week, we’re excited to present Sunpocrisy from Bresci, Italy. Formed in 2007, the group became a six piece band as their sound and live performance progressed over the years. They have previously shared the stage with bands like The Ocean, Ahab, In Mourning, and Black Sun Aeon, and ranked 4th place in the 2010 Italian edition of the W:O:A Metal Battle. And late last year, Sunpocrisy released their debut concept album Samaroid Dioramas.  Sunpocrisy’s sound encompasses Between The Buried And Me’s progression with the gritty soundscape of Neurosis and Burst. Without further ado, give a listen to the song “Samaroid,” off of the album Samaroid Dioramas, in the stream below.

Sunpocrisy is currently in works of establishing a pre-order for the physical release of Samaroid Dioramas while still searching for distribution in the U.S. You can stream and purchase Sunpocrisy’s debut album via their Bandcamp page, and can stay posted on all upcoming plans via Facebook.

If you’re in an unsigned band and would like to participate in Unsigned & Streamed, email a link to your band’s music and a brief bio to tips [at] metalinsider.com for consideration.
