Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine: Raven Black’s Raven connects with fans, makes homemade Kimchi

Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Raven of Raven Black as she’s been keeping herself busy writing new music, connecting with fans and making homemade Kimchi.

 

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?

Actively doing live feeds to stay connected with our fans. Writing new music and creating unique merch for our fans during our absence from touring.  

 

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?

Listening to new metal music releases on Spotify From all new albums this year. 

 

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?

Cooking at home daily to avoid going out. Crock Pot recipes galore. Learned how to make homemade Kimchi. 

 

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?

A lot of Gaming online with fans. Movies – oldies but goodies and a lot of stand up comedy to keep us laughing through the quarantine. 

 

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?

Keeping busy with positive activities whether it’s housecleaning, Art, reading, writing and exercising. All these activities with music of course.
