Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Osyron vocalist Reed as he’s been spending this time drinking and writing tasty riffs/beats.

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?
Most of us have been either drinking, writing tasty riffs/beats, making sure our record Foundations is released effectively or all 3!

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?
We are always delving into the bands and records we love. I know for myself personally, Rainbow and Biffy Clyro were bands I really dug into these past months in isolation.

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?
Highlight was either stuffed French Toast or Pizza Burger Sliders… I’m sure there were some salads somewhere in between!

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?
Well, the band has been busy with finishing certain content for the release. Kris (guitar, programming) worked on our music video for The Ones Below. We also cut together an Album Commentary video for fans new and old to get a deeper look into the making of the record! Other than that, maybe binge-watching Netflix and Lord of the Rings.

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?
Listen to Osyron’s discography! It will help you through these crazy times! Stay healthy, do as much as you can to stay busy, and learn something new about yourself! Hope you, and everyone else is doing alright! Stay safe folks!
