Last year, chef Brian Tsao, who you might have seen beating Bobby Flay or cooking with the likes of Zakk Wylde on Metal Injection, hosted something that was a little more personal. Small Bites of Hope was hosted by Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach, and was a benefit for Hope For the Day, a suicide prevention and awareness non-profit. This year, it’s back again and bigger in every way. Tsao and Leach will still be there and hosting. However, with Leach on vocal rest, he might be pointing or signing more than actually speaking. This time, however, Food NEtworkd personality and Blacklight Media owner Chris Santos will also be involved, and it will take place at Vandal. Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta will also be hosting, and probably handling much of the speaking. Will Jamey Pasta be served? Who knows, but there will be passed h’ors doeuvres and free open bar for an amazing cause, so there’s no reason not to go.
Tickets are still available, and once again,100% of the proceeds will go towards Hope For the Day. Can’t make it tonight, but wan
