If you’re in New York and looking for something to eat this Thursday, May 18th, we’ve got a pretty great thing to tell you about. Having just gotten off the road from the “Killthrax” tour, Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach and chef Brian Tsao of Fat Rad Catering (and of beating Bobby Flay fame) are throwing an event together. Taking place at the Gibson Showroom, the duo will be presenting Small Bites of Hope, a fundraiser to benefit Hope For the Day, a non-profit that raises awareness about suicide prevention. With May as Mental Health Awareness Month, it’ll be a great way to have a tasty meal and an open bar and raise money for a good cause while having tunes spun for you. You’ll also get to hang with the charistmatic Killswitch Engage singer. Tickets aren’t super cheap, at $75, but they’re certainly going towards a good cause.

You can pick up your tickets here.
