March 21, 2025 Release Highlights:
Cradle of Filth, The Screaming Of The Valkyries (Napalm):
The UK extreme metal band’s 14th studio effort is described as “a succinct summation of the ghosts of Cradle’s past and a bold step into the future,” featuring elements of both their classic and newer albums.
The Horrors, Night Life (Fiction):
Back with a new line-up, the goth rockers start a new chapter with the release of their first new album since 2017.
Gates to Hell, Death Comes to All (Nuclear Blast):
According to their profile on Nuclear Blast, the band’s sophomore LP “blur[s] the lines between death metal, hardcore, and every brutal sound in between.”
Lordi, Limited Deadition (Reigning Phoenix):
Loosely based around frontman Mr. Lordi’s love of 80s action figures, the Finnish hard rockers’ 19th studio album “ventures into heavier riffs and faster tempos, creating a soundscape that is both familiar and invigorating.”
Pop Evil, What Remains (MNRK Heavy):
The hard rockers get personal on their latest album, with Rock Pit describing it as “both sonically and thematically Pop Evil’s heaviest ever offering; a thundering collection of arena-ready modern rock and metal hits in which Kakaty opens heart, mind, and soul.”
