Dutch symphonic metal giants Within Temptation has offered a peak at their new single “Shed my Skin” with a teaser video. The video also announces the bands newest and most ambitious undertaking. It’s called, “The Aftermath – A Show In A Virtual Reality.” This immersive virtual event will marry modern digital technology with the bands wildly popular music and satisfy their loyal fanbase by giving them a live performance the likes of which they have never seen!

“The Aftermath – A Show In A Virtual Reality” will see the band performing in four different worlds playing a wide variety of music from their catalog along with some very special guests.

Lead singer Sharon Den Adel had this to say…

“We are absolutely gutted that the Worlds Collide tour has been pushed back again and we cannot perform live in the same venue as our fans,” the band says. “With this digital show, we hope that the fans can still feel our energy, our love for, and above all, our passion for music. Take care and we hope to see you on July 8 or July 9.”

European audiences will get to see the show on July 8th while the Americas will get access to it on July 9th.
