10) Scar of the Sun – “Inertia”

Greek metal outfit Scar of the Sun are gearing up for their new album, Inertia, out May 14th via Napalm Records (pre-order here). The band has shared a video for the title track.

The group comments:

“It’s absolutely breathtaking to watch your emotions and words that you put on paper being materialized and visualized in such a magnificent way! The work of Achilleas Gatsopoulos exceeded our expectations for one more time! Achilleas perceived and depicted the whole Inertia album lyrical concept and he managed to fit it in a four minute masterpiece of a video. We hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we do!”

Achilleas Gatsopoulos adds:

“Picking up from where the album cover left off, the band’s trademark Jugendstil/Dieselpunk/Ancient Minoan design elements were combined with an Expressionist Film approach in order to breathe life into the intricate illustration and manifest the lyrical concepts into visual form.”

11) Seth – “Les Océans du Vide”

French black metal outfit Seth have unleashed a video for the song “Les Océans du Vide!” The track is taken from the group’s upcoming album, La Morsure du Christ, out May 7th via Season of Mist (pre-order here and read our review at this location).

The group comments:

“Let us dedicate seven minutes of silence today. April 15, 2019, the moment is solemn – the blaze devours Notre-Dame de Paris. Two millenaries of spirituality have symbolically collapsed under the assault of a demonic fire. The cover of our brand new album ‘La Morsure Du Christ’ is a commemoration to a tragic anniversary. In today’s godless world, the end of the journey arises twenty years later from the depths of a past formerly believed to be eternal. Here is track number six from ‘La Morsure du Christ’ baptized ‘The Oceans of Emptiness.'”

12) Scars of  Solitude – “No Riddance”

Finnish melodic metal outfit Scars of Solitude have unleashed a video for the song “No Riddance.” The track is taken from their upcoming EP, If These Walls Could Talk, which is expected to be released later this year.

Singer/guitarist Tuomo Laulainen comments:

“No Riddance is a explosively energetic and vitally melodic metal anthem with a catchy chorus of which’s energy and straightforwardness is borrowed from pop-punk. The song used to go with the working title ’Paramore’ for a long time. The song’s lyrics were written during the sleepless nights accompanied by arrythmia and anxiety as if it were the exact opposite of the song’s musical side.”
