It is the 30th anniversary of Tools platinum-certified, debut EP Opiate. The alternative metal giants, recorded a new version of the title track. “Opiate2” was recently released on digital and is now has an accompanying short film. The video marks the first in roughly 15 years for the band, and was created by visual artist Dominic Hailstone (‘Alien: Covenant‘, ‘The Eel‘) with Tool‘s own guitarist Adam Jones overseeing the process. In more Tool news, the band’s latest album, Fear Inoculum, will be released on April 08 as an ultra deluxe vinyl pressing.
