As COVID-19 cases continue to reach an all time high including daily deaths in the United States, California Governor Gavin Newsom has put new regional stay-at-home orders. These new restrictions has led Steel Panther to postpone their Gobblefest livestream, which was initially scheduled for tomorrow (5th) taking place at the Viper Room in West Hollywood, CA. All tickets will remain valid when the event is rescheduled.

With the unfortunate cancelation, the group decided to give their fans something to enjoy during this time as they released a re-worked version of their song “Fuck Everybody.” The track is taken from their latest effort, Heavy Metal Rules. The new version titled “Fuck 2020,” is more of a reflection of 2020 with lyrics, “Fuck 2020. 2020 can suck my dick.”

In addition to the reworked song, the band has “Fuck 2020” merchandise available here

The band comments:

“This year has been fucking tough on everyone. We were excited to hang with you all at Gobblefest this weekend and hopefully have some laughs, but Covid has other plans for us. We hope you enjoy the new song in the meantime. It has become an anthem for the band – and not just because we wrote it. Please join us in telling 2020 to suck our collective dick.”
