Mastodon’s Brann Dailor is probably one of the few drummers in rock and metal that is identifiable enough to sit in on a late night show and be recognizable. And while we were surprised that he actually got a weeklong fill-in spot on Late Night with Seth Meyers, we’re not surprised that he crushed it. Not only did he ably hit the skins throughout the week, he also got to participate in a bit where he got to call Seth a bitch. We’ve known he’s had comedy chops in addition to his drum chops, but it’s pretty cool that the show recognized it was well. Our homies at Metal Injection put together a compilation of all of the Brann’s musical intros and outros, as well as his limited chats and lots of plugs for the band. We have a feeling this might not be the last time we see him fill in.
