According to Rolling Stone, Mötley Crüe are allegedly going to return to the stage despite their ‘Cessation of Touring’ agreement. As we’ve already expressed, 2020 is the year for reunions. Now, the “retired” band will apparently tour with Def Leppard and Poison for a massive 2020 stadium trek. There have been rumors circulating on a Mötley Crüe reunion as of late, which includes a Change.org petition.
Poison frontman Bret Michaels recently spoke to Billboard and discussed how next year is the “dream” year:
“2020 is really the dream. I’m working real hard right now to put together something incredible with some other bands for next summer.” A new Poison recording, he adds, “would be amazing. I don’t think an entire album, but at least one song; I’d love to do that. It’s definitely on the wish list.”
Motley Crue’s “final” show took place on December 31st, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. A BluRay/DVD of this performance is available here.
