Bret Michaels gives thumbs up to Kentucky Police Sergeant

Posted by on July 7, 2015

Over the 4th of July holiday weekend in Lexington, KY,  Police Sergeant Jason Rothermund performed a cover of Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”  According to the Lexington Division of Police Facebook page, Rothermund is president of the FOP Bluegrass Lodge #4, and said his fellow officers got him to do it.

Said Rothermund:

“The guys assigned to me know that I love 80’s music. I heard the guy who was playing guitar ask over the microphone if I was in the park… he was inviting me to come up to the mic with him. My guys set me up! After saying I was a police officer, the crowd urged me up there. So I kinda had to go.”

The Lexington Division of Police hoped that Poison’s Bret Michaels would see it, and he not only saw it, he replied on Twitter!
