Italian psychedelic/doom trio Ufomammut are celebrating their 25th anniversary by releasing their new EP, Crookhead, slated for October 31st via their Supernatural Cat Records label. Recorded in July 2022 at Flat Scenario Studio in Italy by Lorenzo Stecconi and Luca Grossi, this EP features three boundary-pushing tracks. Lorenzo Stecconi handled the mixing and mastering at Triple Sun.
The EP also boasts an artistically crafted handprinted, numbered silkscreen cover designed by Malleus Rock Art Lab, a graphic design collective that includes Ufomammut’s founding members, Poia and Urlo. This release offers a glimpse into their upcoming tenth album, set for a 2024 release, blending music and visual art to create an immersive experience that defies musical boundaries.
