Swedish black metal giants Watain are celebrating their 25th anniversary by releasing a live album, Die In Fire – Live In Hell (Agony And Ecstasy Over Stockholm). Set to drop on November 3rd via Nuclear Blast Records, this live recording captures the band’s intense performance during a sold-out show in Stockholm in October 2022. It features fan-favorite tracks from their extensive catalog and a Bathory cover. Fronted by Erik Danielsson, who also created the album’s artwork, Die in Fire – Live in Hell serves as both a sonic and visual reflection of Watain’s touring cycle for The Agony & Ecstasy of Watain. It’s a token of gratitude to their dedicated fanbase for 25 years of black metal. The band has unveiled a Johan Bååth-directed video for the live album’s first single, “Before The Cataclysm (Live In Stockholm 2022).
