guns_n_roses_logo_hd-t2Guns N’ Roses chose to release their Summer tour dates on April Fool’s Day, the same day that it was officially announced that they’d be playing a one-off at the Troubadour. Obviously, both of those turned out to be no joke, and while the tour doesn’t kick off until June 23rd, the band’s reunion is already off to a great start. The band, from all accounts, appear to be firing on all cylinders, and Axl sounds great, even if he’s not walking like he should be. If you’re looking for confirmation that GN’Rs 21-city tour is the hottest tour of the Summer, look no further than the fact that they’ve added four additional shows to the tour. In addition to adding a show in Los Angeles at Dodger’s Stadium, they’ve added additional shows in East Rutherford, Chicago and Boston.

So if you were planning to see any of those shows, you might want to make a weekend of it. If you’re headed to the Boston show and looking for a place to stay, check out Bostonhotels.org for great deals on hotels. It’s getting a little harder to find bands that can still sell out stadiums in this day and age, and given that the tour is adding additional dates suggests that not only is there an appetite for the tour, but that GN’R are gelling to the point of wanting to add more. Check the band’s entire North American tour schedule, with the additional dates in bold:
