Still pissed off at yourself for missing Faith No More on their 2010 tour? Well, the wait may be finally over, as the reunited group has announced plans for a North American tour, just in time for their new album.
The band’s first North American tour in roughly five years will find them starting off in Vancouver on April 15 before concluding in Philadelphia on May 15 (though they’ll be back in August for Heavy Montreal). Tickets for all shows go on-sale this Friday (Jan. 30) at 10 am local time, while a fan club pre-sale will be made available on Wednesday, Jan. 28 with more details to be found on FNM.com.
Yet that’s not the only good news FNM has for fans, as we now know when we can expect to hear another song from the forthcoming album! The second single titled “Superhero” will be released as a limited edition 7-inch single on March 17, followed by a digital release on March 31 (check out the cover artwork). It’s worth noting that along with “Motherfucker”, the band has been playing “Superhero” live (both during European festivals and an in-store Record Store Day performance). Regardless, we’re excited to hear the studio version, and even more anxious to hear the entire album (due out this May via the band’s newly formed imprint, Reclamation Recordings, being distributed by Ipecac Recordings).
