When Faith No more launched their Twitter account in May, they promised to get “a little creative.” Now we know what that meant, as the band debuted two new songs at the Hyde Park Festival yesterday (4). This is a huge deal, as the band hasn’t released any music in 17 years, which was when their last album, Album of the Year, was released. Taking the stage dressed as priests, the band delivered a 14-song set, not playing anything new until the last song before the encore, which setlist.fm calls “Leader of Men.” They then took the stage again to play a song listed as “Motherfucker.” Yesterday was their first show in two years, and with them playing some European festivals, it’ll be interesting to see if they keep playing those two songs or possibly debut some more new songs.
