Once again, Puddle of Mudd is in the news, and once again, it has nothing to do with their music. One of the last times we wrote about the increasingly erratic behavior of frontman Wes Scantlin, he was arrested after going for a joyride in the baggage carousel at an airport. Now, another airport-related incident finds us writing about him again. This time, it’s not what he did, but what he didn’t do: board a flight to make a show in Michigan. Here’s what The Machine Shop said about the show via their Facebook page.
In case you hadn’t see the earlier announcement tonight’s PUDDLE OF MUDD concert was just cancelled by their management…

The venue refunded anyone that wanted their money back and put on a free show with the local openers, which was a good way to make up for Scantlin’s ridiculousness. It’s also pretty funny that the club spelled his name wrong. The band has some tour dates coming up in July and August, which means that their booking agent is probably going to be getting a handful of calls over the next few days.
