Alright. I know what you must be thinking right now because that’s what we’re thinking too: This guy must be doing it on purpose at this point and we will all feel dumb to find out it has been a whole PR stunt for their next concept album about the erratic and sad life of a former rockstar from the late 90’s and all the shenanigans he gets into as a result of becoming obsolete to the current pop-culture and needs to make himself relevant by getting in all sorts of trouble. That’s our theory because there is no way someone can get arrested as often as this guy.
A few weeks ago, Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested for driving under the influence in Minnesota, after running away from the cops and leading a 100 mph chase. The excitement wasn’t enough for Scantlin because he was busted, once again, for drunk driving this time in South Dakota. In addition of being drunk, he was also cited for marijuana possession, adding a nice cherry on top of the ordeal.
He was released after a $500 bail last night but if he’s not ordered to seek help, attend AA or sent to rehab soon, we will be writing another one of his adventures really soon. To revisit some of his previous incidents, Puddle of Mudd cancelled a show last month because Scantlin forgot to get on an airplane, and then deleted most of the contents of their Facebook page a few days later. This comes after being arrested in Denver, and throwing a mic into the crowd in 2014.
