Royal Thunder’s debut full length, CVI just came out a few weeks ago, and the band was on the road with Valient Thorr and Holy Grail to support it. I say ‘was’ because the band has dropped off the tour for the next few days as guitarist Josh Coleman is currently resting up at a hospital. Singer Mlny Parsonz gave an update on Facebook.
“Royal Thunders guitar player Josh Coleman has been sick for a few days. We were driving down the road in Indiana and he woke up saying “pull over, pull over, he puked up blood and then passed out. He is very sick. The ambulance came and got him and now he’s resting at Cameron Hospital in Indiana. He is our brother and our family. We will be by his side for the next couple of days, in hopes that he recovers. He is receiving blood transfusions and waiting on results. We need to cancel our next two shows, wednesday and Thursday. We deeply apologize and regret it. Sorry for any disappointment’s. We wish we could be there. We hope you all can understand. Thank you for your support and we look forward to meeting back up with our tour buddies, The Kick Ass, Holy Grail ,and Valient Thorr! Peace! ” – Mlny Parsonz
This is unfortunate. The band’s debut full length, the excellent CVI, just came out about a month ago, and the band was just a little over a week into a tour that continues until July 19. Since the post was written yesterday (20), they’ve so far only cancelled shows through tonight, and at least as of now, they’ll hopefully return to the tour, with a healthy Coleman in tow, tomorrow night in Grand Rapids.
