Royal Thunder to open Crooked Doors in April

Posted by on January 20, 2015

Capitol Photography ParntersRoyal Thunder perked up a lot of ears in 2010 with their self-titled debut EP. That was enough for Relapse to sign the female-fronted quartet, and their 2012 full-length debut, CVI, landed them on a handful of year-end lists. Now the Atlanta-based band have announced their sophomore album, Crooked Doors, will be released on April 7.

Fronted by the expressive voice of Mlny Parsonz, who also plays bass in the band, Toyal Thunder toured with the likes of Pallbearer, Enslaved and Baroness on the last album, and will likely be on the road quite a bit for this one too, although no plans have been announced yet.

“It’s been too long,” said the band. “Thanks for being patient with us in delivering this album!  We hope you are fond of it.  Looking forward to revisiting familiar places and faces.”
