Mastodon has been teasing us quite a bit lately, dropping hints about the new album. However, iTunes in Australia might have ruined the surprise, as they’ve got details about the band’s 7th album. If we’re to believe what they’ve said, it’s called Emperor of Sand, and will be released on March 31 via Reprise Records. That’s very much in keeping with the “eos360” website that launched yesterday.
It is rumored that the band will unveil the album’s first single “Sultan’s Curse” sometime tomorrow!
