Limp Bizkit are getting ready to hit the studio to work on the follow-up to 2011’s Gold Cobra. For a while now, the band has shared a few updates on their new album including previously announcing its title: Stampede of the Disco Elephants. Guitarist Wes Borland has revealed the news via Instagram and expressed how the band initially planned to work on their new LP last Saturday but the California wildfires destroyed frontman Fred Durst’s home instead. Some of their gear went along with it which caused the delay.

Borland commented:

Getting warmed up to actually make a brand new @limpbizkitalbum. We would have started last Saturday but were displaced by the fires and lost some gear. Getting back on our feet and in the studio within the week.”
