Supergroup of all supergroups, Teenage Time Killers featuring Reed Mullin of Corrosion of Conformity, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Nirvana, Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God and many, many more, have announced a show! What?! Who would’ve thought this would even happen? Most would have assumed it never would have been possible from having over 20 metal artists involved, but here it is. The band will be playing a one-off (at least for now) show in Hollywood. The band’s Facebook page states:
“ATTENTION! #TeenageTimeKillers are playing a show on September 12th at #TheFondaTheater in Hollywood! Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (password ‘KILLERS’) and regular tickets go on sale Friday. You can purchase tickets here…
See you there!!!”
One show is amazing in itself. It’s actually a really big deal… Will this be the only time Teenage Time Killers perform live? It’s hard to imagine this assemblage of talent getting together for another show, but given how many people are on the album, maybe they could make an East Coast date happen. Hell, Dave Grohl was able to do it himself with Sound City. Given the chart reaction of the album, it makes sense that they’d want to capitalize on it.
